As you know, I'm not a fan of regulated 'monthly empties posts'; I'll write about my empty odds and sods as and blimming well when, thank you very much ; )
That said, here's a roundup of the lotions and potions I've recently used the last dregs of.
Behold...
Behold...
This post is brought to you by the words 'skin care' and hair care'.
Normally, I'm not one for fancy schmancy hair products, but that's not to say I'm not thrilled when I receive them. So when I a James Brown gift set made its way under my Christmas tree last year I was excited to give the products inside a go. The brand's High Gloss Shampoo has made my hair silky soft without weighing my head down. A big, thumbs up from me. Will I purchase it again? Yessiree!
On the skincare front, two products from Boots Botanics came to the end of their life recently. I've been alternating between the Mattifying Mousse (which I've used for years but the cleanse has since been reformulated in Botanics' recent makeover), and Botanics Cleansing Foam Wash All Bright

I'm a big fan of both cleansers. I use the mattifying mousse when my skin is crying out for some extra TLC. It's gentle, non-abrasive and doesn't break me out. The foam wash? It's a little more harsh (the product even caused an infection when a little made its way into the corner of my eye recently) but still nice enough for daily use. Still though, a nice little product at a bargain price (I believe they're both less than £5 each).
For everyday use, I've enjoyed this Miracle Moist conditioner from Aussie. Making my hair beautifully soft to the touch, this is a nice product for when your barnet needs a little pick me up. Plus, it smells good enough to eat. Although please don't.
The mini tube of Elemis' Spa@home Treat Your Feet foot cream has been lingering in my bathroom cabinet for months. I don't know about you, but caring for my feet doesn't usually make it into my beauty routine (sorry, feet!). But I've finally used it up and it's an okay product. Nothing to write home about, but nicely scented and does the job - if the job you require is moisturised feet, not a load of ironing.
Which products have you used up recently? Any recommendations?
Until next time...
Disclaimer: I received the Aussie shampoo due to my involvement with the Aussie Angels initiative. But, as ever, my opinions are 100% honest and my own.

I love that feeling of finishing up a product! I'm trying to work my way through mine, too :) xx
