Budget Beauty: Aldi's Q10 Day Cream

I'm no snob when it comes to skincare; I'll judge each product (and brand) on its merits. Which is why I found myself browsing the beauty aisles of my local ALDI recently.

I've heard a lot about the supermarket's skincare, and have tried some of its make-up (the eye shadow duos are ridiculously pigmented for their pocket-money price tag).

Recently, I picked up this Q10 Day Cream, which aims to 'replenish moisture and protect against skin ageing'.

Formulated for all skin types, it's quite a thick consistency (think Ponds cold cream) but I've been slathering a bit on my face on my less oily-skin days.

What do I think?

For a budget beauty product, this is great. It comes in at less than a fiver (pretty sure it was about £2.50) and there's a fair amount of product in this hefty jar.

It sinks in fairly quickly and doesn't bring on a break out.

Is it a miracle worker? Not yet, but I'll keep you informed. My skin is certainly drinking it up at the moment, thanks to the bitterly cold weather.

Which budget beauty buys have you given a thumbs up to lately? Let me know by commenting below.

  1. It's times like this when I wish there was an Aldi nearby! I'm hating this cold weather, my hands have actually cracked from how cold it's been! xxx
