Earlier this year I had my hair stripped of years of built-up dye at the hairdressers - something I've talked about here on ALTH more times than I've had hot dinners. Probably.
It was a harsh process; one that took two hairdressers around four hours in total. In the end, I panicked as they both viciously scrubbed at my poor old hair with God knows how many chemicals, in a desperate bid to rid it of the last traces of black hair dye.
A good chunk of money and a whole morning later, my hair was transformed into a dip dye ombre, black with red tips.
Where am I going with this? Despite being around five months down the line, my hair's still not fully back to its old self. The drying chemicals have left my hair straw-like in places and noticeably harder to manage.
Enter Ojon's Damage Reverse Range...
| The Ojon Damage Reverse Range: Shampoo, Conditioner and Restorative Hair Treatment |
Dubbed 'the ultimate do-over for damaged hair', the range couldn't have arrived at my house at a better time.
I'm lucky to be part of the Boots customer panel, and these products were sent to me in return for a short review on the shop's site.
I've been using the Damage Reverse Restorative Shampoo and Conditioner daily for a good few weeks. And while I can't say it's restored my hair completely, it's certainly made a difference. It doesn't feel quite as dry and I've also noticed a marked decrease in tangles.

| Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment |
So far, I've used this rather hefty tub of Ojon Restorative Hair Treatment just the once.
I used quite a generous amount and slathered it on dry hair, as directed on the tub. What I will tell you is this stuff is messy with a capital M. Wear gloves and stay put. I made the mistake of wandering around the house in the 20 minutes it took to work its magic and later spent a further 10 minutes scrubbing a greasy blob of product out of the carpet.
After the allotted time, I shampooed and conditioned my hair - et voila! My hair felt noticeably softer and looked a lot glossier. Whether I'd fork out £16 for it, I'm not sure. But I'll definitely keep you all updated as to how it fares over the coming weeks.
WIN!
If you pop on over to the Boots site, there's a chance to get your hands on 1 of 10 exclusive Ojon hair hampers - worth £150 each. Good luck everyone!
Have you tried Ojon? What do you think?

I've heard so many good things about the Ojon products already and I would looove to try these out one day.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately they're not that easy to get in Germany... not to mention the prize. :/
xx
Aww that's a shame! Yeah, they're definitely are pricey but worth it if your hair's suffered some serious damage, I suppose. Thanks for popping over, Hermione x
DeleteI haven't tried Ojon yet, but it is on my wish list. I always here great things. x
ReplyDeleteMe too! It's very pricey but worth it if you've been mistreating your hair, like me! Hope you're well, Alice x

Lovely post :)
ReplyDeleteI actually applied for a job at Boots working with Ojon, got the interview but didn't get hired boo :( I've never used any of the stuff before but I've read quite a few reviews in the last couple of days so its getting hyped! I like the idea of premium haircare but I'd rather spend my money on clothes!
