So I've shuffled my sandals, flip flops and pretty flats to the back of the wardrobe in disgust with this measly summer we're having. I think it's safe to say we've already seen the best of the sunshine, so I'm reluctantly looking at autumn/winter shoes and boots already. Pessimistic, me?
So I'm pondering my next purchase but I really don't know what to splash out on. My head tells me to opt for something comfortable; something I'll get a lot of wear out of and will see me through the new season.
But my heart (damn it) urges me to select something ridiculously high, painful, yet oh so sophisticated; a pair of heels you'd only ever wear for those v.special occasions. You know the kind.
If I had the moulah to splash, these beauties would be top of my wishlist....

| £239 with 50% off. Still a little out of my price range. Sob. Or how about these nude Mary-Jane-esque court shoes? |
After an agonising day wearing some cheap welly boots featuring, of all things, a tacky rubber duck design, I've decided it might be worth while to purchase a decent pair of welly bobs.
While working for internet company Gardening Direct (yep, I used to write about trowels and spades), Hunter was a ridiculously popular brand. They're a bit pricey, but tell me, are these as comfortable as they say?

| £78 for wellies? Ouch |
Love these buckle-detail ankle boots and something tells me they'd be really comfortable. What do you reckon?
What about you? Have you already given up on your summer wardrobe, too?
What should I go for?

I like the ankle boots best, they are fabulous and a little like the chloe ones:)

Me too, I think I'm pretty sold on those actually! x
ReplyDeleteLove the studded ankle boots! Hunter wellies are the best, they last forever. It's worth a look in TK Maxx for a pair though, they had some recently for about £40 :) xx
