I'm not a big fan of liquid foundations. I'm not sure why, but I think it has something to do with me being so pale and the fact that pasty white foundations are so ridiculously difficult to come by.
That said, I was happy to let any colour-match concerns pass me by to give Vichy's Dermablend a go. I'd read and heard so many positive reviews that I duly handed over £13 or so quid in Boots to give the foundation a go - and I have to say, I was more than a little impressed with the results.
| Vichy Dermablend in Opal (Number 15) In terms of coverage, this is fairly heavy, but buffed in with my Real Techniques foundation brush it gave the most flawless base. True, the colour was still on the dark side but it blended well and didn't look daft. Staying power is pretty good too and on days when I don't need as much coverage I simply mix this with my usual moisturiser. This is an easy 9/10 for me. What foundation are you currently using?
