I love old fashioned cinemas. With that in mind, after enjoying a meal out at a lovely little Italian in Barnsley tonight, myself and the chap jumped in the car and drove to Penistone (pronounced Pennis Stone. Childish) Paramount in the hope there was something on worth watching. There wasn't.
The cinema, as lovely as it is, only has two screens. We'd missed one showing entirely and the second one was already half way through when we arrived. But what it lacks in screen numbers it more than makes up in old school charm, with ushers to show you to your seat and a proper interval (or so we're told).
Still, we had time to get the obligatory OOTD shot in.
It's not often I wear court shoes, but tonight I slipped a pair on, only to hobble to the car later. I'll be digging out the flats again tomorrow when I pop my trainers on for what I hope will be the first of many jogs. I'm attempting, once and for all, to get fit. Wish me luck.
What are you up to this weekend?

That cinema sounds really cute! I didn't know those sort of cinemas still existed :) I love your outfit :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Becca. It's such a lovely little cinema, I don't know of any others like it x
