One for all you music fans...
If you didn't watch the BB4 documentary about UK punk poet John Cooper Clarke, I thoroughly recommend you do (via iplayer).
The man's a genius, and as they say in the programme 'he's more than a national treasure, he's part of the national furniture'.
I can also say he's a very nice chap, after interviewing him four years ago during my job as music columnist for my local newspaper. I was more than a little proud of my efforts as John is notorious for being difficult to track down, let alone arrange an interview with.
Take a look at my interview with the great man - and do let me know what you think.
And I have more than an inkling that Faris Rotter from The Horrors (below) models himself on old John.
Uncanny eh?

In the meantime, I'll leave you with this, one of my favourite JCC poem:
Are you a fan of JCC?
