Okay, hands up who's humming that Cliff Richard classic in their head. No? You should be ashamed of yourself. You can't beat a bit of Cliff.
So, how did you spend the Jubilee weekend?
I celebrated the festivities with a giant piece of homemade cake and a brew, in my very own Diamond Jubilee mug (courtesy of my pal, JP).
Her Majesty: then...
And now...
On Monday, we popped along to a Jubilee-themed barbecue with family. There was union flag bunting, red, white and blue cakes - the lot.
I whipped up another Victoria sponge (pictured) to take to the bash, but it didn't turn out quite as well as I'd hoped - ending up a bit lopsided and flat (I blame the oven).
My peanut butter cookies, on the other hand, turned out a treat. I took the recipe from the Hummingbird Bakery and they went down a storm at the Jubilee do. Not to brag, but almost as soon as I'd put them on the table they'd all been snapped up.
