I'm a massive lip balm fan. But while I'm never without a tub, I'm not always convinced that using lip balm is the best thing for dry lips. Who else feels that the more you apply, the more your lips seem to need it?
That said, whenever I've used Elizabeth Arden's 8 Hour Cream I've found that one application is enough to last hours.
When this pretty little product by little-known beauty brand Figs and Rouge arrived in this month's Glossybox arrived at my house, I was as intrigued at its cute and quirky packaging as I was at its natural ingredients.
First up: the product smelled gorgeous - a delicate rose scent that really lingered. But what I loved most about this product was how moisturising it was; something you don't expect from an all-natural brand - definitely worth a try if you fancy a change.
Have you tried anything by Figs and Rouge? Are you a fan of the brand's products?
I'm definitely keen to try this! I'm a big lip balm fan but I don't use it too frequently, because as you said I don't think it's all that great for the lips. My favourite is Blistex MedPlus! x
ReplyDeleteI find this product makes my dry lips worse, I had to stop using it. It has an amazing scent but just doesn't work for me.
ReplyDeletehi ;) i love you blog, it's so nice!

I got this in my Glossy box as well its really lovely so moisturising. I have the vanilla and cherry scented one although I think it smells more like cola sweets.
ReplyDeleteI've been on a perfect lip-balm hunt lately and this came up on my radar...I was about to order it but got some burts bees instead. I want balmy but not too waxy (lol) and I actually prefer tins to the sticks. I may have to place an order for this soon
ReplyDelete@Lydia - I haven't tried that Blistex one, that's another to add to my collection...
ReplyDelete@madamgourmand - Oh that's a shame : (
@Aldara - Thank you for stopping by.
@Mittens - oooh I will have to check out the vanilla and cherry one, sounds just up my street!
@Jeneille - Let me know how you get on with the Burt's Bees one
xx
