Sick of Skincare Posts Yet?

No?

Here's another then...

A couple of months ago I was invited to a blogging event hosted by the people behind the Witch skincare brand. And while the team came up with a really unique way to put their products to the test (see The Style PA's blog post to find out how) I was unable to take a full week off work to head down to London to join in the fun. Groan.

Netherless, the kind folk at Witch were nice enough to send me a (totally unexpected) bag brimming with Witch products, including not just the brand's skincare line (cleansers etc), but some additions to the make-up line too.

With three shades of blemish-fighting tinted moisturiser, face powder and a medicated concealer, the collection really does include everything you'll need to target oily skin. And the really good news is it's an affordable selection, too!

So here's part one of my Witch Skin care reviews (there was so many products I had to split it up....)

I've always had problem skin and used Witch regularly as a teenager. But thankfully these days I don't get quite as many blemishes as I did back then. When I do, however, I've been whipping out this nifty little stick from Witch. Priced at just £2.75 (on the Boots website at least), this handy blemish figting stick has really come in er...handy! Suitable for use on clean skin or underneath make-up it's a blue lip balm-esque product minus the lip balm texture. Swiping onto the skin clear it delivers a fresh, tingly sensation and really helps to calm down angry blemishes. A real winner!

Next up is the Witch Blemish pen. This is probably better used at night as once on the skin it appears bright blue. With similar properties to the Blemish Stick, this is another well priced little product from Witch - at £5.10 (Boots.com - I promise this is not an advert for Boot) I''m not sure how it differs from the blemish stick, as both seem to have a similar same effect.
Here's what the Witch site has to say anyway:

"The NEW Witch Blemish Pen is THE handbag must-have miracle for beating breakouts! Easy and convenient to use with a gel formulation and brush applicator, simply apply the medicated gel to blemishes as often as required and allow the natural witch hazel to do its work!"

If you fancy trying Witch I noticed it's currently on a 3 for 2 offer on Boots.com (Honestly, I promise I don't work for Boots!)
