Stash it Or Trash It?

This is the first post of a new series called 'Stash It Or Trash It'. Basically, I'll be regularly testing beauty products and letting you know whether I want to 'stash it' (tuck it away in my make-up stash for keeps) or 'trash it' - chuck it, bin it, say ta ta. Who knows, I may save the 'trash it' pile over the weeks and offer it to one lucky/unlucky (delete as appropriate) subscriber to see if they can put it to good use. As we all know, one lady's make-up trash can often be another lady's cosmetic treasure.

So, here we go. Up first in the 'Stash it Or Trash It; spotlight is......


 Avon's Tiger Eyes Eyshadow Palette....

Thumbs up for the cute packaging.

But what about the shadows themselves?

They look stunning don't they? I thought the same, until I swatched them. The shimmery shades at the back had virtually no pigmentation or staying power, while the two front matte shades were chalky in texture.

I wasn't expecting anything jaw-dropping from this palette. It did only cost me about £5 after all. But I've had cheaper shadows that have done more.

So, you've guessed it. This is the first product in the TRASH IT corner.
