According to online statistics, 9 out of 10 teenagers suffer some degree of acne. I was one of the unlucky ones and spent years perfecting a skin care routine which worked for me. I tried it all - oral medication and on-the-spot lotions and potions - but only got the problem under control in my early twenties.
A company called Works With Water contacted me some weeks ago to ask if I'd like to review their skin care supplement - Help: Clear Skin - which is said to give clearer skin in just weeks.
But despite still suffering from the odd hormonal spot every now and again I no longer have full blown acne. So I'm looking for a guest reviewer to try the supplement and write a few words for my blog.
If you've got problem skin I'd love to hear from you. I've been sent approximately 5 weeks' worth of the product and I'm looking for someone to do a guest review of the product here on my site
Here's what the website says:
What is help: clear skin?
help: clear skin contains Praventin™ a clinically proven bioactive protein, rich in lactoferrin, which has been shown to reduce the development of the bacteria responsible for many skin impurities, helping to prevent the formation of blemishes and spots due to its antimicrobial effects.
... but with help: clear skin you've no lengthy bathroom procedures or underperforming products. Just a simple soluble formula containing ingredients clinically proven to improve your skin.
How do you use it?
Simply empty a sachet twice daily into your favourite beverage or soft food (hot or cold), stir until dissolved and look forward to clearer healthier skin in as little as eight weeks.
So, if you think you'd like to give Help: Clear Skin a go simply comment below telling me why and I will select a guest reviewer. I'll then post the product out to you before posting a review of your experience a couple of months later on my blog. You can remain anonymous if you'd like and I won't expect any before or after photos! If you'd prefer to email me instead of leaving a comment, you can reach me at laurenholden6@gmail.com
Thank you.
DISCLAIMER: Help: Clear Skin is suitable for vegetarians, diabetics & lactose intolerant people. It's also gluten free. I f you're unsure about taking this product, visit your doctor for advice first or visit the brand's website at www.workswithwater.co.uk for more detailed information.

Hi Lauren,
ReplyDeleteI would love to try this product as I'm having some problems with teenage acne just now, and have had for a few years.
I've tried what seems like hundreds of products and they seem to work in a vicious circle; you use a medicated treatment which dries you skin up, then a moisturiser to soothe which then breaks you out, so you're back to using the harsh prescribed treatment again.
I think this product sounds like a great idea as it works from the inside, not another lotion or potion to attack your skin with.
I'm also a vegetarian, so it's great to see that this product is veggie friendly.
Thanks,
Dee (dsmakeupblog@hotmail.co.uk)
Hi Lauren,
ReplyDeleteI tried to get this product on a review basis but I never heard anything back - I don't know if they didn't think my skin was bad enough or if I just didn't make the cut.
I'm 22 currently and aspire to be a Beauty Director at a magazine - it seems like a bad joke when I tell people such and they give me the side eye, why? Because my skin is bad. Who wants to take beauty advice from someone who hasn't had clear skin since the age of 17!
I have tried EVERYTHING, from ProActiv right up to Superdrug's own brand Anti-Bacterial line which helps the redness to an extent but once under the light, all of the lumps and bumps are exposed.
I am on antibiotics but they aren't working - I gave up on the dermatologist quickly as they seem only concerned if I had spots on my body and not my face.
I would love to try this product - I am open to trying anything if it means it will help my skin. I have been on the search for a wonder product for years and if this could be it then I would be amazed and filled with joy!
I would love to be able tell people what I want to do n life without feeling like they are laughing or thinking 'ok...keep dreaming' on the inside.
Thanks,
Cate.
