Style File: Meet....Valencia Lia

In an extension of my Life and Loves interviews, 'Style File' gives you the opportunity to take a sneaky virtual peek into fellow bloggers' wardrobes.

First up, the super stylish Valencia Lia from Singapore shares her style must-haves and bargain buys.

Who or what inspires your style?
There are many things that inspire me. The Olsen sisters are surely my main inspiration.
I love how they always make any outfit work,some may say they're trashy chic but they are surely looking stunning all the time.
The sixties era too and hippies - I would want to be one! Magazines and other fashion bloggers surely play the part to inspire me daily as well.
One more person I need to add is Chloe Sevigny! Chloe and the Olsen sisters have always the perfect balance of high end and vintage in their outfits. And being a vintage lover myself, it's always good keep up to date yet still can bring out the love of vintage.

Which celeb's style do you think is overrated?
 Personal opinion -  I would have to say Kayne West's girlfriend, Amber Rose.
I guess you can count her as a celeb. I think at times the clothes she wears are just so weird and not practical. She does have style but I think it's really overrated.

What item wouldn't you be seen dead in?
Fishnet tights! It's really not for me - and even if you gave me a huge amount of money to wear them, I wouldn't. They don't give me good vibes.

What's your current hair style?
Loose hippie waves or braids across my head.
 I just wash my hair and let them dry naturally and I get loose waves like that.

Favourite clothes shop and why?  
This is hard. I don't think I have one at all. But vintage stores online and ebay are places I love to shop because you'll never know what gems you can find!

What's your favourite item of clothing in your own wardrobe?
Vintage Valentino blazer I bought at a closing down sales at a vintage store!
 I was super happy I bought it and it was mine to keep!

Heels or flats?
Flats for sure! Even though I love heels, but comfort overrules it all.
I cannot wait to wear my new moccasins I bought recently. But flats first, wedges second.

What's the one item everyone should have in their wardrobe?
A pair of bright/patterned leggings!
Because at anytime,it will jazz up your outfit and on days when you don't feel like dressing up or you're in a rush, it's one thing to go for. Plus you can walk ,jump and dance in them.
No worries on wardrobe malfunction.
