Here's the second of my 'From the Archives' series, where I delve deep into my journalistic archive and pull out a feature, interview or celeb sighting for your pleasure.
Following the recent news that Florence Welch said she'd have been kicked off X Factor if she was a contestant, here's an old review of mine (below) of her performance in Lancaster.
The London-born songstress performed live at Lancaster Library's Get It Loud in Libraries gig last year and I reviewed the show for The Visitor newspaper (where I work full time) and NME.com.

Mmm, tricky one this. While I am partial to the more electro poppy Little Boots and La Roux, you can't beat a spot of lady wailing. Hats off to Florence and the hauntingly beautiful voice of Natasha Khan of Bat for Lashes. Ooooh! And who could forget Gaga! x
